The landlady of a village pub has celebrated her 50th anniversary with friends, family, patrons and neighbours.
Patricia Gower, 82, arrived at The Pack Horse in Tring Road, Wendover, in 1963 and still works there seven days a week.
A weekend of celebrations included a party with marquee, pig roast, live music and fancy dress on Saturday evening.
And on Sunday Fullers dray horses pulled a cart giving rides to children.
Mrs Gower’s son-in-law Jim Davies, the licencee of the pub, said: “We had a brilliant weekend. The turnout was unbelievable. She was thrilled to bits. “And we also raised money for the Young Deaf Activities charity.”
Mrs Gower was presented with a rose bowl by a representative from Fullers.
