Four Thame businesses have claimed success in the first ever Muddy Stilettos Awards.
The award-winning blog hosted its first awards with Gallant winning best men’s fashion boutique; Umberto, best deli; FROM, best gift shop and Emma Redding from BuggyFit sealed success as best fitness instructor.
The blog, now in its second year and set up by Thame resident Hero Brown, celebrates the best places to visit and enjoy in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and the awards received more than 10,000 nominations.
Hero said: “Through the blog, I already knew lots of fabulous places across the region, but I was sure there were more places out there that deserved a chance to shine.
“I must admit that the response to the awards was slightly overwhelming and were a real testament to the range and quality of the independent businesses operating in this area.”
The journalist said she wanted to reward businesses for their creativity and great service.
