A BEARDED Haddenham man raised more than £400 for charity when he had his long standing facial hai removed.
Dennis Taylor had the beard he has sported for the past 32 years removed at Fort End last Saturday.
The money will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
The shaving was carried out by 29 year old Hayley Hewitt, of Hewitt’s barbers.
She said: “It was the first time I have done that outside, but it is good, it all goes to charity.
“Everyone watching was happy and laughing.
