AN Aylesbury author has published a novel about a time travelling pensioner’s swashbuckling pirate adventures.
Peter Bunnett’s new book, Pathway, is described as a ‘fast paced, historically accurate adventure story specifically aimed at the pensioner market’, by publishers Book Guild Publishing.
It follows hero Pat who finds out that the deeds to his bungalow holds the secret to time travel.
He experiences the dangers and squalor of the 17th century, then becomes involved in the intrigue of Second World War espionage.
Mr Bunnett served in the RAF for five years, including a tour of duty in Cyprus.
He worked for Thames Valley Police for 30 years before retiring.
