Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust has a new deputy chief executive.
Neil Dardis has taken up the role, having previously worked for East and North Herts NHS.
He will oversee day-to-day management of clinical services and ensure the service meets national targets.
Mr Dardis said “I am delighted to be joining Buckinghamshire Healthcare at this exciting time.
“Having spent over a decade in operational management, working my way through the operational ranks to director of operations, I believe that I will bring a wealth of experience to my new role in helping to lead the trust in what is one of the most challenging periods in the history of the NHS.
“I know that the trust has a clear vision to be one of the leading integrated organisations in the NHS and I look forward to working with the staff and local partners to provide the best possible care for our patients and the local community.”
Chief executive Anne Eden said: “The board would like to welcome Mr Dardis to the trust at a busy but exciting time.
“We look forward to working with him to continue developing our services across community and within our hospitals, ensuring we deliver affordable care close to home without unnecessary duplication and to achieve NHS Foundation Trust status.
“As an innovative and forward-thinking trust we look forward to welcoming a new member to the team and working with Mr Dardis to ensure we continue to improve our performance and deliver the best quality services and patient experience we can.”
