Youngsters can learn about the world of work and try their hand at a variety of careers next month.
Work Wise Week is the brainchild of Aylesbury College principal Pauline Odulinski and runs February 4-8.
Highlights include a twilight event on Thursday 7 featuring have-a-go sessions to try careers in construction, catering, hair and beauty, photography and IT.
There will also short interactive workshops on CV writing and interview skills.
Mrs Odulinski said: “We are very excited about the new Work Wise Week initiative.
“As a college we are passionate about working with the local community to empower and prepare students for the world of work so they can be successful in their chosen career.
“This week is designed to tell people of all ages all they need to know about the fantastic variety of work options open to them.
“We hope it will be of great benefit to young people, career changers and businesses alike.”
