Parents who want their children to start at primary school or transfer to junior school this September are reminded to return their applications before the deadline next Tuesday (15 January).
To be eligible for a place, children must have been born between September 1, 2008 and August 31, 2009.
Parents of children in Year 2 who wish to transfer to a junior or combined school (with a point of entry into Year 3) in September 2013 also need to apply now.
Paper application forms are available from the schools or from the county council admission service.
Applications can also be made online at www.buckscc.gov.uk/admissions
Mike Appleyard, Buckinghamshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, said: “Buckinghamshire schools are very popular and many receive more applications than there are places available.
“Submitting your application late, even by a day, can affect your child’s chances of being offered a place at one of your preferred schools.”
