Hundreds of people braved the ice cold winds on Boxing Day to run off the Christmas indulgence in the annual 5k road race.
The popular event, which features junior and senior races, started in Market Square and ended in Kingsbury on Wednesday morning.
The action got under way with the junior runners before the main event at 9.45am.
Arranged by Vale of Aylesbury Athletics Club, for some it was a competitive affair as runners donned thier club vests to take part.
Clubs represented in the race included the likes of Vale of Aylesbury, Bearbrook Running Club, Chiltern Harriers and Bicester AC. However, for many it was just a fun way to run off the Christmas pud.
