The nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty has been transformed into a pantomime by Thame Players for the group’s annual Christmas show.
Joining Humpty in the story are the evil Baron Hardboyld and baffoons called Blog and Twitter.
A spokesman fot the show said: “Add to this various other nursery rhyme characters, a mad professor, knights, the king and queen, a robot and an amazing dancing bear the show is packed with everything a family pantomime needs.
“Not to forget the stunning travel machine made by the professor to transport the heroes – and some of the villains – to nursery rhyme land.
“All woven together with lots of songs, dancing and mostly corny jokes, the audience can be sure of witnessing a stunning performance.”
The shows take place in The Players’ Theatre, Nelson Street, Thame at 7.45pm on Friday December 7, Wednesday 12, Thursday 13 and Friday 14.
Matinees will be at 2pm and 5.30pm on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 along with Saturday 15 and Sunday 16.
