Two more jailed in Aylesbury drug bust

Two more people have been jailed as part of Aylesbury’s biggest ever drugs raid.

Steven Doyle, 25, of Hampden Gardens, and Debbie Almond, 51, of Elm Green, both Aylesbury, were sentenced to 18 months after possessing and supplying class A drugs.

The pair appeared at Oxford Crown Court last Monday before Thames Valley Police confirmed they were jailed today (Monday).

Det Insp Russ Murden, who led the operation, said: “These sentences are another success story for Operation Sideline and Thames Valley Police.

“We will continue to take strong and decisive action against those involved in the supply of illegal drugs in Aylesbury.”

The raids, which took place in September throughout the Vale and across London, have seen dozens of people arrested and jailed for a variety of drugs-related offences.
