An exhibition inspired by folklore has opened at the Obsidian Gallery.
It is called Ancient Spirals, Moongazing Hares And Moonlit Harts and features the work of six artists – including Jackie Morris’ The Cat And The Fiddle (pictured).
Gallery owner Trisha Woodcock said: “There is a huge interest in exhibitions we run featuring english folklore and nature. It is a very popular theme that seems to hearken back to childhood – fairy tales and summer days in woods and fields.
“Hares feature widely, alongside foxes, owls and stags in woodland and field settings, captured in paint, ink, metal, glass and wood.”
The exhibition runs until November 4. For more details visit {http://www.obsidianart.co.uk|www.obsidianart.co.uk|click here for more}
